Annie Kane is a filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, California. What began as a passion for photography transitioned into dreams of filmmaking after making a short film in New York City about the experience of a miscarriage. This film opened up a conversation with her grandmother that nobody had ever had with her. Realizing both the power and responsibility of filmmaking, Annie became determined to bring a fresh, female voice to the screen. She moved to Los Angeles to get a jumpstart on her career while completing her undergraduate degree online. During this time, she worked as a freelance creative as well as a Production Coordinator. Her clients include Ridley Scott Associates Film, Red Bull Media, and Sony Music to name a few. Seeking a deeper understanding of her craft and a community of likeminded filmmakers, Annie earned her MFA in Film Production at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts in 2023 where wrote, produced and directed several short films. In her free time, Annie enjoys reading fiction novels and practicing ballet.
